Overview:
Development of methodology and models for intellectual speech interface based on integral use of diverse knowledge about language and extra-languistic knowledge.
Analysis of the state-of-the-art in the area of speech human-computer interface in the infotelecommunications and the choice of the methods for decision of the main objectives of the project.
Speech interface will be developed based on integral conception of automatic speech understanding and using modern multimedia technologies.
Expected scientific results: (1) Development of methodologic foundations of creation of intellectual speech interface, which has high functional reliability and accuracy of execution of oral commands.
(2) creation of the laboratory prototype of intellectual speech interface. Supposed use of results: information retrieval systems of diverse kinds with voice input-output, systems of electronic commerce,
systems for interaction with Internet, systems for spoken machine translation, voice control for technical equipment, training systems, etc.
